Our Story

Meet the team

In 2019, we opened Dråpe Kaffehus with a simple idea: create a place in Ålesund where people could slow down, meet, read, and talk—built around real hospitality and really good coffee. Dråpe grew into more than a café. It became a daily “third place” for the city: a room where strangers became neighbours, where ideas had space, and where culture could happen naturally.

Forum is the next step. A gallery and a stage alongside a café, created for exhibitions, concerts, conversations, workshops, and everything in between. We’re opening in January 2026, and we’re building it with Ålesund in mind: a space that gives something back to the city, and a programme shaped over time with the people journeying with us.

Vi er SÅ kry av å få ha Sara Elisabeth Tunheim sine maleri fylle opp veggene på Galleriet allerede NÅ PÅ TORSDAG! 5. mars klokka 18:00 blir det vernisasj av utstillingen hennes med forskjellige innslag og mulighet
What an evening! Vi er så kry av baristaene dommerne og alle som var en del av RM på Forum i går! Gratulerer til Stefan med første plass! @stefanamymiron blir da sendt videre til NM i barista, og representerer Ålesund!
Håper på å se deg i morgen! Forum er åpen for salg av kake og diverse søtt, i tillegg til håndbrygg og te! Vi kan ikke servere espressobasert / melkebasert kaffe fra 17:00 på grunn av RM i barista som skal
Kanskje litt tidlig men du kan allerede nå få kjøpe Jacu sin påskekaffe fra våre hyller, og kanskje et V60 kit med en sprudlende farge?
På torsdag er siste mulighet for å se og kjøpe fra Nadia Molugovas utstilling på Galleri Forum. 🤍 Etter Molugovas utstilling kommer en ny en av Sara Elisabeth Tunheim fra 5. mars til 2. april. Vi gleder oss masse!
